Bob Devlin is an executive consultant, facilitator and coach. His clients indicate that he has an extraordinary ability to build relationships with individuals and groups, leading them in breakthrough conversations that create new ways of interacting and doing business. Bob develops and manages longer-term leadership learning initiatives, succession planning efforts and programs for newly promoted leaders. He is known as an innovative program designer who builds strong teams of facilitators and coaches to deliver innovative leadership development solutions.
As Director and Senior Faculty of the Georgetown University Organization Development Program he trained hundreds of leaders and consultants in the complex dynamics of change. He is the creator of the Leadership-in-Action Cohort Leadership Training Methodology currently used by OPM and the US Army to prepare GS-15 Senior Scientists and Engineers for executive roles. As a co-designer and lead faculty of the Insights Into Leadership Executive Curriculum used across the globe by dozens of global publisher Pearson, plc leadership teams (500+ executives) to enhance executive and organizational performance. Bob creates customized 360 instruments and team assessments, one of which was used by 2000+ leaders at Nokia in 2011 as a part of their global turn-around effort.
Bob teaches graduate leadership courses at Johns Hopkins University (SAIS) in Washington, DC and Bologna and at the Tai Sophia Institute – the nation’s premier wellness university. He has an MA in Human Resource Development, post-graduate training in Organization Development and coach training in the Gestalt, Sedona Method and Integral traditions. Bob works, travels and speaks internationally, is fluent in French, having lived in Europe for many years and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Central Africa.
